Advisement & Registration for Undecided Students
Academic Advisement

Academic Advisement

The Office of Academic Advisement provides advisement services to undeclared undergraduate students. Advisement takes place each semester. It is recommended that you meet with your Academic Advisor at least twice each semester. Meeting with your Advisor is one of the conditions that clears you for registration. Advisement begins in September for the Fall semester and in February for the Spring semester.

Advising Tips for Students
  1. Ask lots of questions when meeting with your Academic Advisor
  2. Inform your Academic Advisor of important changes which directly affect your academic performance
  3. Don’t be afraid to discuss with your Academic Advisor unsatisfactory academic performance
  4. Meet and/or have contact with your Academic Advisor often
