Dear Prospective Student:
The Coppin State University Helene Fuld School of Nursing would like to thank you for your interest in our Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. Our program is designed to meet the requirements set forth by the Maryland Board of Nursing for both classroom and clinical instruction. Graduates of our program are prepared to take the Geriatric Nursing Assistant Examination. Successful completion of our program can result in a rewarding and sustaining career in healthcare while enabling you to achieve social and economic stability. The faculty of the program is invested in helping you to be successful. The following information is being provided to you to enroll in our next class which begins May 2, 2011.
This course runs for a period of 12 weeks beginning May 2, 2011.
Tuition for the course is $1700.00 (Payment plans available)
Tuition includes the following:

Registration -$100 (Submitted with Application)
Initial Deposit- $350 (Due prior to start of 1st class) May 2, 2011
Weekly Payments - $156.25 over 8 weeks June 27, 2011 (Biweekly payment arrangements are available).
Registration and Initial Deposit are Non-refundable. Weekly Payments may be refunded on a prorated basis up to week 6 (June 13, 2011), after which time no refunds will be given.
All Payments must be made in the form of a Money Order made payable to CSU Helene Fuld School of Nursing. Cash, Personal Checks or Credit cards will not be accepted.
The Nelson Denny Reading test must be taken by all students prior to enrollment.
All students are required to complete a Background Check and Drug Screen 4 weeks prior to the start of Clinical.
Registration is currently underway and will continue through Friday, April 15, 2011. The Student Affairs and Retention (S.T.A.R) staff is available to assist you through the admissions process.
