Welcome to SASA!
We are so pleased that you are interested in choosing Coppin State University as your institution of higher education. To assist new direct-from-high school students in getting a jump start on their college career, the University provides the Summer Academic Success Academy (SASA) – a FREE, comprehensive, six-week summer residential program. SASA is designed to help incoming freshmen make the transition from high school to college while earning college credits. SASA students complete college courses, attend college success workshops and tutoring, and participate in social and leadership activities. This highly structured experience allows freshmen students to experience the expectations and rigors of college prior to the fall term. Students will have the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and peer mentors who will guide them through their transition. SASA provides freshmen an introduction to the academic, social, and recreational resources of the campus community.
