Mathematics and Computer Science Minors
Minor in Computer Science
The minor in Computer Science prepares a student for employment as computer programmer, systems programmer, or system analyst
in business, industry, or government. It also provides a strong background for managerial positions.
The required courses for the minor are:
- COSC 220, COSC 221, and
- twelve (12) more credit hours in Computer Science approved by the Department Chairperson.
Minor in Mathematics
The requirements for a minor in mathematics are:
- MATH 132, MATH 201, and MATH 202, and
- 6 additional credit hours in mathematics or computer science approved by the department chairperson.
