The Instructional Technology Department provides support to faculty in the use of instructional technology. We conduct workshops and consult with faculty and staff individually and in groups. Our mission is to enhance student retention and success through the use of engaging, effective and appropriate technology solutions.
Some of the technologies that we help faculty to use include:
Blackboard is a Course Management System (CMS) that allows an instructor to interact with students online. Whether you are teaching a face-to-face, hybrid, or completely online class, you can use Blackboard to engage students in online discussions, assess students' knowledge with online tests and quizzes, hold virtual office hours, and more.
