About the CCS Group

The mission of the Client Computing Support (ITD) is to enable the effective use of information technology in support of the College. We are responsible for the maintenance, upgrades and operational support of all personal computers within Coppin State University.

In pursuit of this mission, CCS's goals are to:

Respond to customer requests for assistance in software and hardware related problems. Our objective in this regard is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Support the use and development of information technology to enable academic innovation in teaching, learning, and research.

The Computing Help Desk provides computing assistance to members of the Coppin community. Through our Help Desk and on-site services, we provide a full range of computing assistance on IS supported products and services for the Windows operating system.

You may send questions to the Help Desk at any time. E-mail questions are usually answered the next business day, often sooner. Requests for telephone calls are returned during the Help Desk business hours (8:30 am – 6:00pm). Some questions need additional investigation and take longer to answer. If this is the case, the Help Desk will notify you that we are researching your question.
