Mission Statement

The Mission of the IT Help Desk is to increase Coppin’s productivity by providing a single point of contact and responsibility for rapid closure of our users’ technology and telecommunications problems.

Accessing the Help Desk

Users may contact the help desk via phone at x 3888 or via e-mail to IT Help Desk. When a help desk call is first entered, the customer will receive a notification by e-mail stating that the service call is in the Help Desk system. When inquiring about the service call, please be sure to use the call number that is provided in the e-mail.

Hours

The help desk is manned at all times between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Monday - Friday, excluding school holidays.

Response Time

For non-emergency calls, the user will expect a response from an IT staff person to his/her service call no later than two days from the date the request was received.
