Endowment
An endowment is a perpetual gift that will support university initiatives for years to come. Endowments funds are invested and the earnings are used to support various programs. These types of gift provide a long-term benefit for Coppin.
Gifts of Securities, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds
If you wish to give a gift of securities, stocks, bonds or mutual funds, call the office of Institutional Advancement at 410-951-3800. We will help to facilitate your gift.
Gift Planning
There are a variety of ways that you can give a planned gift to Coppin State University. Below are some of the planned giving options that may be available to you:
- Gifts of Assets—stocks, bonds, and property
- Gifts by Will—receive a charitable estate-tax deduction
- Gifts That Pay You Income—gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and pooled income funds
- The Charitable Lead Trust—transfer property to Coppin State University
- Gifts of Retirement-Plan Benefits—assets held in accounts under 401(k) plans, profit-sharing plans, Keogh plans, and 403(b) plans
