The Coppin State University Nursing Center, a nurse-managed clinic located at Health and Human services (HHS) building at 2601 North Ave 1st floor Suite 131, is a primary care facility, which is operated by the Division of Nursing. The Center provides readily accessible, low cost, high quality care to residents of the neighborhood surrounding the University. Services of the Center emphasize health promotion and prevention of disease. The goal of the Center is to improve the health of persons who reside in areas adjacent to the University.
Nurse practitioners, faculty and students of the Division of Nursing, and in some instances, a physician, provide services. All professional personnel are properly licensed by the State of Maryland.
