Dining Services

The Eagle Card identifies student meal plan holders at the Dining Hall and Rathskeller. The wide magnetic access stripe on the back of the Eagle Card contains encoded on-line information regarding the user's board contracts which is read by Dining Services automated systems to permit access to dining services. Card holders who deposit money into the Eagle Card declining balance account, can make card purchases with the Eagle Card at the Dining Hall and Rathskeller as well.

Residential Hall Access

The Eagle Card provides individual access to the residence halls. The proximity chip on the Eagle Card will admit you to the residential hall that you reside in. Inquiries regarding access to the residence halls with the Eagle Card should be directed to the residence hall directors at Dedmond Hall and Daley Hall.

Library Use

Access and services to the Coppin State University Library and other University System of Maryland libraries require the Eagle Card. Library users present their Eagle Card to gain admittance. The barcode on the front of the Eagle Card grants uses privileges to borrow books and other materials.

Bookstore Use

All Eagle Card holders who deposit money into the Eagle Card declining balance account can make card purchases with the card at the Bookstore. The Eagle Card also identifies students for check-writing privileges.
