Placement Test

What is the Placement Test?

The Accuplacer Placement Test measures students' skill levels in English, Reading, and Mathematics. The scores will determine if a student is ready to enroll in regular college level courses.

Who is required to take the Placement Test?

The following students must take the placement test:

Students who have earned scores of 470 or higher on the SAT verbal and/or math tests are exempt from the reading and/or math parts of the placement test but must take the English part of the test.

When Do Students Take The Placement Test?

Admitted students will receive a placement test packet detailing when they have been scheduled for the placement test.



Placement Test Reservation

Placement test reservations are automatically scheduled for admitted students that require the placement test.
