The objective of this Certificate Program is to provide a structure by which required courses can be completed by those students who are preparing to apply for State of Maryland Certification or Licensure as a professional counselor.

In addition to completing the following eighteen (18) credit hours, interested students are required to complete 49 credit hours in the Rehabilitation Counseling Education Masters Program in order to become eligible to sit for the state exam.
