20th Century African-American Poetry (Available on campus only)
A database of modern and contemporary African American poetry, featuring almost 9,000 poems by 62 of the most important African American poets of the last century, including Langston Hughes, Jean Toomer, Imamu Amiri Baraka, Audre Lorde and Rita Dove.

Black Thought and Culture (Available on campus only)
A collection of non-fiction writings by leading African Americans. Letters, essays, prefatory comments, interviews, journal articles, and more are included, much of it never before published.

CINAHL (EBSCO)
Access to journals, healthcare books and book chapters, dissertations, conference proceedings, and standards of practice. Covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines.

Criminal Justice Periodicals (ProQuest)

Mental Measurements Yearbook (EBSCO)

New York Times (ProQuest)
Provides online full text for the New York Times newspaper, the New York Times Book Review, and the New York Times Magazine. Includes national and international news, full text of important speeches and documents, Supreme Court decisions, and presidential press conference transcripts.

Pre-CINAHL (EBSCO)
A companion database to CINAHL, Pre-CINAHL is intended to provide current awareness of new journal articles, and includes a rotating file of limited bibliographic information, which may or may not include abstracts. No full text is available.

Primary Search (EBSCO)
Covers popular, elementary school magazines and about 100 student pamphlets. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator. Also includes access to Encyclopedia of Animals, Funk & Wagnall's New Encyclopedia, the American Heritage Children's Dictionary, and an image collection.

PsycINFO (EBSCO)
