Would You Like to Start an Alumni Chapter?
Alumni Association

Purpose of Alumni Chapter
  • Provides an opportunity for increased participation in the development of the University
  • Increases visibility for the University in different geographical, professional and social arenas
  • Unites alumni in an organization that mutually benefits the members as well as the University
  • Chapters serve as a forum for communication between the University and its alumni
  • Chapters are an extension of the University which fosters growth, vitality and longevity

Here's how you can…..

Step 1

Gather a group of Coppin alumni with whom you have a common bond, i.e. discipline, class year, geographic location, faith based organization, employer, etc. (The office of Alumni Relations can supply you with a list of your classmates.)

Step 2

Determine your mission and the activities involved in carrying out your mission.

  • Fundraisers
  • Special Projects
  • Student Recruitment
  • School Spirit

Step 3

Elect officers and develop by-laws that are in conformity with those of the CSU Alumni Association. These by-laws must be filed with the CSU Alumni.
