The Division of Administration and Finance at Coppin State University is responsible for providing administrative and fiscal support services to all university constituencies. The division is dedicated to supporting the university's mission of access and public service. The functions of recording financial transactions, safeguarding physical and financial assets, allocation of resources, procurement and delivery of university services, and safety and security of the campus community are handled through the Departments of: Auxiliary Services, Budget, Controller, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Procurement, and Public Safety and Security.
The division's operations are guided by policies and procedures developed in accordance with the State of Maryland, Federal government, the University System of Maryland, and accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.
