The minor in English provides students with the opportunity to shape their own study of a broad range of literary genres and traditions through a series of upper level courses in American, British, and/or World Literature. In addition to a knowledge of literary history and close reading and analytical skills, the English minor enhances a student's writing skills.
Students who elect a minor in English must complete with a grade of "C" or higher the following courses in addition to the GER:
